Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

These terms govern your use of Buyers Briefing at buyersbriefing.com. By using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the service is

Buyers Briefing aggregates publicly available government data — including FEMA flood maps, NOAA weather alerts, EPA facility records, FBI crime estimates, Census demographics, FAA airport data, and others — and presents that data in a single neighborhood report for a given address.

Informational use only

Reports are for general informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional real estate, environmental, legal, insurance, or financial advice. The data reflects what public agencies have published; it may be incomplete, out of date, or subject to change. Do not make purchasing or investment decisions based solely on a Buyers Briefing report.

Data accuracy

We fetch data directly from official government sources and apply no manual corrections. Accuracy depends entirely on the source agency's publication schedule and the coverage of its datasets. Some local data layers are only available where a city or county operates an open data portal. We make no warranty that a report is complete or error-free.

Free tier

The free tier provides an A–F neighborhood score and up to three risk flags per report, limited to three searches per month. We reserve the right to change or discontinue free-tier limits at any time with reasonable notice.

Paid reports and subscriptions

One-time reports ($29) grant access to a single full report for the searched address. Personal subscriptions ($12/month) provide unlimited full reports for the duration of the subscription. Agent Pro subscriptions ($149/month) include white-labeled reports and bulk features as described on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your billing portal; no refunds are issued for the current billing period.

Prohibited uses

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buyers Briefing's total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the report or subscription in the 30 days prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including any loss arising from a real estate transaction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
